Welcome to Bassett Street Elementary’s website! I am so proud to be Principal of this great school. Bassett’s focus is to challenge every student to develop, create and ultimately achieve to their absolute full potential. We want all of our students to take ownership for their own learning. Our school continues to be at the forefront of curriculum and technology. We consistently work toward project and problem based learning that is fundamentally differentiated based on student levels and is standards based across all domains. With a large number of nationally board certified teachers, a world championship STEAM Robotics program, and nationally recognized multi-media arts labs that create student culminating tasks and produce Bassett TV, our school has a great number of programs and resources to offer. From mastering foundational skills to developing students that can step into the role of instructional leaders creating evidence based projects and tasks,  Bassett provides the tools necessary for students to succeed as global citizens in the 21stcentury.
